If you have ever had the hiccups and could not get rid of them; you know what that is like to be annoyed with them for any length of time. If you know how to swallow air, do that for a remedy to get rid of hiccups. The reason why that works is that air in the stomach causes hiccups, but swallowing air causes a person to burp and get rid of the air they just swallowed and the air that is causing the hiccups at the same time.It might be necessary to swallow air more than once to stop the hiccups.
When you use this effective and pain free way to remove splinters you will say "Why didn't I think of that?" This is especially great with children because they can watch, not scream and see the splinter afterwards if they want to. Get some elmers glue. The white glue in the squeeze bottle is the stuff you want to use. Don't trust your splinter to a substitute on children. You can use it on you if you'd like to see if it works as well, but use the original Elmers glue on the little ones. Take one to two tablespoons of the raw apple cider vinegar and mix it with some juice or take it by itself and follow it with some flavorful juice. Taking it by itself might not be possible for everyone to do, but with experience you will get more used to it and will be able to drink it alone. Wait 10 minutes and be relieved of the indigestion.
Many people have difficulty falling asleep and then when they get up in the morning they are sleep deprived. To fall asleep faster and each and every night prepare for the restful sleep you will be getting following this simple task. Get a pencil and paper. At least 1/2 hour before retiring for the night write down everything that is on your mind that you ordinarily think about as you lie in bed unable to fall asleep. If you need more time than 1/2 hour increase your time for writing the next night until you have successfully put all your thoughts on paper and let them sit until you pick up that paper in the morning to think of those things once more.
Make it a conscious effort to sit tall. This is accomplished by putting your hips tucked back in the seat of the chair you are going to sit in. Keep your shoulders back so your lungs can breathe deeply. Rest your arms on the arm rests of the chair. Keep your feet flat on the floor perpendicular to the shoulders. When you arise from a sitting position; slide your buttocks (your rear end) to the end of the seat of the chair. Move your feet out a little and press on the seat with both hands and keep your back straight.Rise using your legs and your hands and not your back. Do not lean forward when rising.
Lot of good advice here. My hip has been getting me and you know I don't sit right at my computer. I bet that is the problem since I'm on it almost 10 hours a day. I love writing things down before bedtime. Its a great way to get writting ideas out of my head so I can rest, and a great way to remember them the next day.
