Introduction:

You really do not have to stick to a dog these days when you are searching for a pet to own. Sure, dog is man's best friend, but maybe you would rather own a more unique pet.

Frog

A frog is a little bit more unusual to own than a dog or a cat. A frog would be nice to own, because a frog doesn't cost very much to feed. A frog is also very easy to take care of.

They sell frogs in pet stores everywhere. It is not very hard to find one if that is what you are looking for.

It is not really the best pet to own, but it certainly is up there in the top five. There are many different species of frogs, and surely one of these species will interest you.

Turtle

A turtle is an interesting pet to own. Owning a turtle would be nice, because it is a little unique and unusual to own a turtle.

Owning a turtle is not really that different. People all over the world own them. People like to choose turtles for their pets, because they don't make much of a mess.

Turtles come in many different colors and sizes. They are quite amusing to watch. It is really neat to own a turtle and to make friends with it.

Owning and caring for a turtle would be a great way to relieve some of that stress from your daily life.

Sugar Glider

A sugar glider is one of the newest, unusual pets to own. A sugar glider is a really awesome pet. It is super cute, small, and has big eyes.

A sugar glider is small enough to fit into your pocket, and it loves hiding in pockets, too. Sugar gliders love people, and they love to play.

They are really friendly, but they will bite you if they feel threatened.

Sugar gliders love to jump or fly from person to person, hang out on your shoulder, or even in your hood.

Sugar gliders like to eat upside down. They really do not eat that much, and they are easy to take care of.

Chinchilla

Chinchillas are really awesome pets. They do some really silly things. A chinchilla will eat right from your hand. They are so sweet, soft, furry, and round.

Chinchillas when frightened will actually throw out their hair. The poor little things.

Chinchillas love being around people. People who own these as pets like to play with them often. They will jump up onto your lap, sit on your head, bounce off the walls, and much more.

Chinchillas are quite amusing pets to own. They should not have too much sunlight, and they should not get wet. They are so cute when they have their dry baths.

Bearded Dragon Lizard

A bearded dragon lizard is a really neat pet to own. It is a lizard, but it looks like it is a bearded dragon. That is why it is named a bearded dragon lizard.

Bearded dragon lizards can be trained to sit and rest on your shoulder. They will be happy to just stay there, and you can even feed them while enjoying their company.

Owners of bearded dragon lizards like to give them baths, and they also enjoy taking them outside on nice days. Bearded dragon lizards love to soak up the sun, just as us humans do.

You can even hand feed them.

Regardless of the pet, it's so important to know what you're getting into. Reading lists such as this before going to a petstore and purchasing a pet is so important.
