Here is a list of the top five reasons not to play on Farmville. Hopefully this list will be helpful to you in deciding whether you should be playing on Farmville or not.

Time

It would be wise for you not to play on Farmville because of time. Time is very precious and important these days. There is never enough time for doing the things we enjoy. There is never enough time to do our daily chores and the things that we really need to be doing in the first place.

In our ordinary lives, we all have certain chores that are expected of us including things like shopping, washing the dishes, cooking, cleaning, laundry, homework, and working.

These are only a few examples of what we need to be doing in our everyday lives. Unfortunately, Farmville is not one of them.

Addicting

You should not play on Farmville because it is extremely addicting. When you first join, you might not spend that much time playing. After a day or two goes by, you will be staying on longer and longer.

Give Farmville a week, and you will be spending hours a day playing. Beginning to feel this great addiction, you will begin making promises to yourself that you will limit playing on Farmville to one hour a day.

After another week or so, you will be making a commitment to only play on Farmville for two hours a day, and so on.

Family

Think about your family. This is another reason not to play on Farmville. With this extremely addicting game taking up all of your time that you did not even have in the first place, you will also be neglecting your family.

Depending on where you play Farmville, your family may even be wondering if you have moved out. If they are not wondering this, they most certainly are wondering why you no longer have any time for them.

Anyone deciding whether they should play on Farmville or not should surely consider their family members first. This will truly help you to make your decision.

Friends

Think about your friends. You should not play on Farmville, because you have real-life friends that you should be spending your time with. Your friends need you.

Friends are a valuable asset in your life. Do not consider disposing of them so quickly. You just may find yourself needing them someday.

Not only that, but think of all of the new friends that you will be playing with on Farmville. These are all people that you do not even know. Yet, you will be spending more time with them than your real-life friends and family who really need your loving attention.

Writing

At least consider not playing on Farmville before it is too late, and you are totally hooked. There must be better things that you can do with your time.

Maybe you can play on Farmville just for a little bit. Just enough not to become addicted, but yet, enough so that you can write about playing on Farmville.

You can write about playing on Farmville, and let others know all the pros and cons of playing this online game. There are many sites online where you can get paid for writing. You can write about anything that you know about, and you will also be helping others to learn.

Heh, the #1 reason not to play it is that it sucks. >_> It's not even a game, it's an exercise in clicking buttons and waiting.

I got a handle on my addiction. Now I only visit my 'farm' once in a while and no more than once per day. Get in, harvest, plant, get out. Done.

I used to play Farmville all the time. It was very addicting and so was Facebook in general. I had to give up and delete the app for Farmville so that I wouldn't go on and play it anymore. Nice list of 5.

Playing on Farmville won't get the number one spot on the leader board like you have done. Games online seem to me to be wasting time. Good points made here on your well composed list.
