Yellowstone is the oldest of the National Parks having been established in 1872. Located in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, Yellowstone features spectacular geysers and natural hot springs as well as dozens of species of wildlife.
Listed as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon is awe-inspiring. It's immense size and breathtaking landscape makes it a favorite destination for travelers from around the world. The Grand Canyon is located in Arizona (nicknamed the Grand Canyon State) and is 277 miles long.
Yosemite is a beautiful National park located in California that is best known for its waterfalls, ancient Sequoia trees and sheer granite cliffs. Hiking, backpacking, camping and cross-country skiing are just a few of the outdoor activities that lure thousands of visitors each year.
The Smokies, as they are commonly called, are visible in both Tennessee and North Carolina. The region is part of the Southern Appalachian mountain range and features a diverse variety of both plant and animal life that is world renowned.
Located in Montana, Glacier National Park features two mountain ranges (part of the Rockies) along with 130 lakes. It has been referred to as the Crown of the Continental Ecosystem. It's vast, pristine region that encompasses more than 16,000 square miles is home to thousands of plant species and hundreds of animal species.
