Don't worry, Be Happy! (My youngest daughter sang this to me over and over again during a very stressful time in our lives.)
My passion has always been poetry. I use the written words as a form of therapy. I have performed some sort of journaling for as long as I can remember. I've drawn pictures, written poetry and even a few short stories. I now combine it all in my art journals.
I married the man that took me to his Senior Prom in High School. I never finished junior high school so if not for his invite I never would have experienced a High School Prom. I still remember the theme was "Follow the Yellow Brick Road".
I am a daughter, niece, cousin, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, scout leader, friend, cat lover, poet and amateur photographer.
I am a published contributor on Associated Content. There I publish articles on a wide range of subjects including recipes, poetry, and scouting. I have also published some of my photography. See it all here: http://contributor.yahoo.com/user/63111/teresa_mahieu.html
I am a child abuse survivor. You will never get over it, but you will learn to trust again.
