Introduction:We have all heard that breakfast is important in our daily lives. We have all heard reasons why. Seriously, these reasons are real, and we really do need breakfast. It IS important for all of us.
Let's face it. You haven't eaten all night long. Even if you are not hungry, your body is. Your body works hard for you, and it is constantly burning calories.
Your body cannot be burning calories if you don't give it any calories to work with.
When thinking of breakfast, don't think of your mind, and if you feel like eating or not. Think of your body, and feed it. Your body will thank you.
You don't need to eat a lot. Just eat something. Even eating a slice of pizza in the morning is better than not eating anything at all.
You need to give your body something to do. It is important to keep your body busy. It is amazing how your body works.
If you were to stop eating breakfast everyday, your body would learn not to expect any. This would not be good for your system.
By doing this, your body would be in a sense shutting down. Think of your body as a big amusement park. It should be working like that, always busy and many things all going on at once.
If no one goes to an amusement park, eventually it will shut down. There would be no reason for it to keep working, just as your body with no breakfast.

Agreed that breakfast is important, but on days that I don't have to rush out in the morning, I personally prefer to wait a couple hours to have my breakfast--I find it allows me to be far more productive in the morning, and like to believe that by drinking coffee I prevent my metabolism from remaining stagnant. Who knows though, perhaps I'm not doing myself any favors.
