Introduction:There are things, that when they happen the first time, we never forget. You're invited to join me in a stroll down memory lane and together we'll remember.
Our first kiss is an experience we never forget - lips touching lips. Shy and a little scared we tremble inside at the idea of a member of the opposite sex kissing us. Women, perhaps more than men, will remember the kisser's first name, where the first kiss happened and the color of outfit she was wearing.
The first kiss may happen on, before or after our first date. Girls spend hours preening and pirouetting before the mirror in anticipation of the first date. It's requisite to change clothes a minimum of five times before he knocks.
All the while it's in the back of our little girl minds - "What if he stands me up?"
This actually happened to me. Oh, there was a good reason. My first date's mom wrecked the family car in route to pick me up. But the pain was still crucial.
My motto was, "If he don't dance, don't marry him." A person who lives for the dance, can turn her mind backwards at will and hear the song that was playing the first time she danced with a guy.
In the end, I married a musician with two left feet, but I'm older now and the motto no longer applies. Still, I'll never forget my first dance.
The all important first love is unforgettable. Some couples are fortunate to meet in school and marry their first love. For others it is not written in the stars. My first love was killed at an early age.
He lives in a shrine that is tucked away in a special place in my heart. We never forget our first love.
Our first baby is a miracle from Creator. We feel very fragile at the little person who has entrusted us with his very life. We count her appendages and feel fortunate when we birth a healthy child.
I once read that a man's heart would stop beating if he had to endure the pains of birth. Women never forget the first sighting of their first baby, but they do forget the pain. It's a marvelous mechanism that Spirit infused in womankind. Also, it's no secret that women are the stronger sex.
These are my most memorable "firsts", which I shall never forget. What are yours?
Another h5 for a wonderful list. Thank you
Very sweet list of memories.
Good list, but I am now trying to remember my first dance and kiss...wow. I will be deep in thought, now!
all true ones that are unforgetable.
Great list of first things never forgotten. I remembered them all as I was reading your wonderful list.
You really have these in perfect order. My first dance at 13, my first kiss at 16. I was really square. I'd play hide and seek and the boys never came looking for me lol, in fact I think they wanted me to stay hidden. Then I halfway blossomed. H5
Excellent list of firsts. H5 list of 5.
I guess I could add my first job... Thanks for the list of first things. H5!
