Introduction:There are literally thousands of money making scams out there. In today's internet age, a lot of these schemes have moved online. It's hard to know where to start. I believe that anything that requires me to pay money to earn money is not worth my time, and most likely is a scam. You want to earn money, not spend it. These are all legitimate ways to make money online without being scammed.
The best way that I have found to make money online is by writing. No matter what your hobbies are, or what your profession is, you can write about it and earn money in the process. I prefer to write how-to articles. I'm a mechanic and writing about car repair comes naturally to me. I have literally earned thousands of dollars online in the last couple of years writing about it. For you it may be home projects, lawn and garden care, or even golf tips. No matter what you're good at, people out there want to know more about it. There are many sites that you can write for and earn money, including the site that you're on right now. (More in the links section below).
You can sell your stuff on eBay to earn money online. Everything from game consoles to collectible dolls are hot selling items. eBay estimates that the average household has over $1,000 worth of "stuff" that they could sell on eBay. This sounds like an inflated number until you really think about it. Remember that gift that you received two years ago and stuffed away in the attic? No matter what it is, there is a buyer out there looking for it. You have to be willing to set yourself apart from the crowd to see the best profits. I've made hundreds of dollars on eBay reselling AAA batteries that I bought on eBay! I bought the batteries in quantities of 200-400 and then broke them down into quantities of 50 and resold them. Several times I have sold 50 batteries for more money than I paid for 200 batteries. The profit margin is fairly small, but if you continue to do it the money will add up over time.
Start a blog. These days it seems that everyone has a blog, and for good reason. It's simple. Blogs make money. Find a niche that you are familiar with and write about it. From sewing to cabinetry to appliance repair, people want to know more about things that they are interested in. Why not be the one to tell them about it, and earn money while you're at it. Before you know it, you will have a following that will be waiting for your next post. Putting ads on your blog will give your readers other interesting things to check out, while putting checks in your wallet.
There are thousands of survey sites out there. Some pay you with reward points that you can redeem for items or sweepstakes entries, and others pay money for each survey you take. The process is simple. You receive survey invitations in your email and fill them out. The companies pay you for giving your opinion. I have made nearly $300 in the last two years with one site alone. While this doesn't sound like a lot, I consider it free money. All you have to do is read questions and provide answers. I will gladly tell someone how I feel about products and services when they pay me for it.
Zazzle is a company that allows you to customize their products and sell them. The best part is, you never touch anything. You just design the items with your artwork or words and put them up for sale. Upload your own images or create them on their site, and apply them to everything from T-shirts, coffee cups, stationary, to hats. You also get to set your own profit margin.
Scams are everywhere. That doesn't mean that you have to become a victim to one. I have spent the last several years finding ways to earn money online. All of these options have worked very well for me.
These are all great ways to earn money online.
