Introduction:When you first sign up for the social networking website Facebook, your friends will invite you to play games. One of them is most likely going to be the game FarmVille by Zynga. It seems like a fun interactive way to connect with friends. After a while, though, something happens to take away that interest. You are done with it and these are the reasons why.
The game FarmVille by Zynga on Facebook is competitive. The more friends that you have to play with, the more gifts you can receive. Some people have deluxe virtual-farms that are decorated with adorable fake animals, trees and buildings. They have acquired tons of farm-cash and coins from planting make believe crops. You may get discouraged because you are not on the same level as some of these friends and your property is small. No matter how you try, you can never acquire all of the fancy things that they have. You give up. They win. You are done.
If you really get involved in the game FarmVille by Zynga, you can begin taking it seriously. It starts to seem like a real place. It is life or death if you do not get back in time to take care of the property. Friends may post a reward and if you are not fast enough to claim it, someone else will. There might be some extra fuel for your tractor waiting or the chance to claim a Mango Tree or a rare collectible. When you discover that this imaginary area seems too real, it is time to stop. You are done.
When you start playing FarmVille by Zynga, you have absolutely no intention of spending as much time as it takes. After all, you have to impress all of your buddies with how well you can organize your estate. Everything needs to be neatly planted in rows and your animals need to be in barns, chicken coops or corrals situated in just the right places. Hours go by and before you know it, your life is wasting away. There are better things to do in the real world. You are done.
Planting all of those crops takes time to mature. You have to harvest them, if you can remember when to do it. If you forget, then your FarmVille items all wither and die. You also have to remember to take care of your virtual- animals and harvest the fruit from the trees. It gets to be a pain after a while. The game becomes mindless and boring. You are done.
You have decided to go on with your life and move away from the farm, but your friends are still addicted. They are determined to suck you back in. They continually ask for and send you gifts. There are gimmicks to the game going on at FarmVille by Zynga all year long, especially around holidays. You want to collect all of those Christmas presents, Valentines, St. Patrick's Day coins, Easter eggs, etc., but you resist. Your annoying Facebook farm-friends will not go away. You ignore them anyway. You are done.
I admnit I'm one of those that fell for it, loved it, and now hate it. It being Farmville by Zynga.
I don't play, but I constantly get requests for farmville items on facebook.
Farmville is a game and I guess can be entertaining if that is remembered. When it ceases to be fun is a good reason to stop playing. I don't play Farmville since I saw the addictive behavior of some of my friends when they sent me requests.Your list is smart and deep too. Well done.
LOL Luckily, I never started... H5!
I have purposefully steered clear of any FB games or apps; just today, I found out that FB was sending out stuff from my account which I never sent out! It was apps that had been loaded without my permission. Rat b#$%ards...
Great list by the way.
I go for number five. I hate being asked to fill someones play water bucket or give them a hoe. Get a real life people. :)
