Introduction:Bee stings are just as irritating as any other bug bite that leaves a swollen spot and an itchy reminder. There are many simple ways to alleviate the stinging feeling from bee bites.
Form a paste using meat tenderizer and water and apply it to the bite area.
Make a paste with water and baking soda and apply it to the bite.
Aloe Vera is a great product. Just slather some over the bee sting and it will bring coolness and start to make the pain from the bee sting ebb away.
Mix up some Epson salts in water to form a paste or just soak the area in an Epson salt and water bath for ten minutes.
Ice cubes or an ice pack is instant relief to the affected area. This method isn't long lasting but it will be an aid to make one feel better until a better solution can be applied to the area.
Cover the area with some baking soda and add a few drops of vinegar over the top. The baking soda will fizzle a bit. Leave it on the skin until the pain of the sting is gone.
You can also cover it with mustard, toothpaste or honey and leave it on to relieve pain. Reapply if necessary.
Remember to apply some sort of poultice right away to alleviate the sting, cool the area down and help with that annoying itching feeling. If the area where the bee sting is get extremely swollen and painful there is a chance that you may be having an allergic reaction. Seek medical attention immediately. Some bee stings can affect ones breathing so having a medical professional look at you as the symptoms worsen is the best medicine for a bee sting.
