For those of you unfamiliar with the crafting world, no, neither Eric the Red or Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III will jump out and you shop with your dog. But they do have everything a quilter could ever want or need. While there, why not let Fluffy pick out fabric for her own custom dog quilt?
While they may seem like a strange dog friendly location, managers at two Columbia Jiffy Lubes assured me dogs are welcome. As a courtesy to other customers, please put dogs on a sit or down stay while in the waiting room.
Needing to do a little gift shopping downtown, but Fluffy tagged along? Poppy on East Broadway welcomes dogs of all shapes and sizes. Just be forewarned of breakables at tail wagging levels.
Lowe's, Home Depot, Orscheln Farm and Home, Westlake Ace Hardware, and Harbor Freight Tools all welcome leashed dogs. Westlake keeps dog treats behind the counter for good puppies, so don't be surprised if it becomes your dog's favorite place.
If you knit, crochet, weave, or just appreciate the fiber arts, stop by True Blue Fiber Friends in the Forum Shopping Center. If you stop by on the weekend, be prepared for lots of oohs and awes from the local knitting guild that meets there. Who knows? You may even pick out some yarn to make her a cute dog sweater.
