"The grass is greener where you water it." Neil Barringham.
I have a passion for cooking and travelling. I create home-made dinners from scratch every evening, and treat myself to out of country adventures three times a year.
I am Canadian. I grew up in the frigid center, but moved to the West coast to be around the vibrant writing communities, ocean and mountains. I love living so close to Oregon and California.
I facilitate expressive arts and creative writing groups in high schools, detox and treatment centres. My own poetry and short stories have been published in Canadian literary magazines.
I am interested in using art and literature as tools for community dialogue and individual healing.
After graduating with a Masters of Science in Community Health in 2007, I worked as a health researcher in women's health, mental health and addictions.
