Many dog owners think that when a dog wags their tail it means that they are happy and excited. Although it can be true, it is not always the case. Dogs may wag their tail if they are nervous or stressed.

Many apartment renters own small dogs because they think there is not enough room in their living space to own a big dog with a lot of energy. Only certain breeds of big dogs have all of that energy. In fact, there are some small dogs with more energy than larger breeds.
The myth that one dog year is 7 humans years is just that, a myth. Most dogs can live to an average of 7 years, which would mean 49 human years. Everyone knows that the average human lives longer than 49 years. This means that one dog year is much more in human years.
It is important to feed your dog twice everyday. Some pet owners think it is easier to feed their dogs once a day and simply double the amount. Feeding them once a day can cause a dog's stomach to bloat which can be a deadly condition.
This is absolutely not true. Begging is a behavior that is taught by humans. If the dog is sitting there, staring at you while you eat and you aren't doing anything about it, you are teaching your dog that it is okay to beg.
