This has been done for decades and they will continue to donate refrigerators, stoves and ranges to every Habitat for Humanity home built. Maytag is a trusted United States, American made product. With this new information, if you did not already know these facts, it is a good reason to support Maytag. Maytag is well known for their low volumes of break downs and many of the advertisements stated that for years too. It also makes every American proud to know Maytag appliances help those less fortunate than themselves.
Amana appliances could very well be found in so many American homes; having some pride within the people who own these appliances. Amana companies donate multi million dollars of cash, products and volunteer time to non profit organizations. This is not done to convince the consumer to buy Amana, but because they believe it is the right thing to do. When Jenn Air hit the market with their indoor grill, most Americans were not able to afford the price of such a unique kitchen appliance.
