Introduction:It is hard to imagine cavemen tuning in to a newscast to get there Saturday morning forecast. There was a time when people had to predict how the weather was going to be simply looking up at the sky. They had to rely on observation and previous patterns. There may be a time when you will have to predict the weather without the use of NBC or ABC weather channels.
In the morning you should check your grass for dew. If the grass is somewhat dry that means that there are very strong breezes and clouds which means it could rain. If there is dew on your grass it may be clear.
Look for any rainbows in the western part of where you are. If there is that means it will be damp and may rain. However, if the rain is on the east that means that it will be sunny.
Look at how the wind is blowing. You can either look at trees where you are or throw a leaf in the air to see the direction of the wind speed. Eastern winds means that there could be a storm on its way while western is the opposite.
Close your eyes and take a deep inhale when you are around grass and trees. The scent of flowers are much stronger when it may rain because the air is moist.
At night look at the moon. If the moon is very sharp and bright it means that there is low pressure in the air which means it may rain. However, if it is pale and dull it should be clear.
