There is sodium lauryl sulfate and propylene glycol in our shampoo that we use in the shower everyday. Why not choose something organic and natural instead? It may not have as long of a shelf life, but it is definitely worth it to keep your body safe.
We all want to apply lotion and moisturizer after we get done washing our hands or taking a shower so we can keep our skin hydrated and from becoming dried out. We may be doing more bad than good. These are filled with toxic chemicals that could really be harmful to our bodies. Use natural olive oil or even a banana peel or the inside of an avocado skin to hydrate our hands.
Not only do most toothpastes have fluoride, but they contain triclosan, which is a pesticide that many warning labels warn you that you should wash your hands after touching. If you aren't supposed to even let your skin come in contact with triclosan, then would would we put it in our mouths?
We probably think that all vitamins are good for us because they help keep our immune system strong and keep us healthy. It is important that we know where we are getting our vitamins from. We don't want to buy some cheap off brand vitamins that we find for a good deal at the dollar store because there are all kinds of toxic chemicals found in there. A better alternative is to go to our health food store and pick up some vitamins we know are safe.
If you can avoid makeup altogether, that is excellent for you. If not, apply it to your face in small quantities. Makeup is very damaging for your skin. There are natural types of makeup, but most of it is very harmful.
