Red Rover is a simple game that kids of all ages can play. It builds strength and it's a great team building game that is fun for all ages.
While many older kids feel that Hide and Seek is beyond them, it is still a really fun game. If you are worried about keeping the game fun for everyone, try playing Hide and Seek at night, with flashlights.
Red Light, Green Light is a great game that helps build balance and coordination. If older kids want to participate but don't want to play the game, they can be the caller, or traffic light.
Tag, in its various forms, is fun no matter which version you play. It's a fun way to get burn off extra energy and everyone can play.
Ghost is a great game that not only allows kids to get their sillies out, but is a great exercise in being quiet, loud, and holding still all at the same time. Once the It person's back is turned or their eyes are closed, everyone should move, make noise, etc. Until the "it" person opens their eyes or looks their way when everyone should "go ghost" in an attempt to stay in the game.
