Introduction:Some of the Criminal Code offenses under the Criminal Code of Canada.
Aggravated assault - Someone who maims, harms, disfigures or endangers the complainant
Assault causing bodily harm or assault with a weapon
Murder reduced to manslaughter - Someone who commits a murder and it is reduced to manslaughter because of a heat of passion caused by sudden provocation
Counseling or aiding suicide - Someone who counsels, or aids and abets someone to commit suicide
Killing by influence on the mind
Intimidation - are all forms of emotional and psychological abuse and may apply as Criminal Code offenses; for example uttering death threats, or threatening to burn someone's house down
Stalking someone - at their work or place of residence is under Intimidation
Criminal Breach of trust
Neglect - criminal negligence; failure to provide necessities of life for a person under their care; detrimental to the victims' health
Criminal negligence causing death
Criminal negligence causing bodily harm
Hate crimes - criminal act to advocate or promote genocide; public incitement of hatred
Mischief related to religious property, for example a church, synagogue or cemetery;
