Try talking to someone, a close friend, family, or a stranger. Tell them what's going on, they may have a fresh perspective on changes you could make in your life to alleviate your stress that you may not have thought of.
Write a poem about what's going on, it doesn't have to be great just something to get your feelings out. If you don't know what's causing your stress make a list of things that may have changed in your life or all of your obligations. If a person is causing your stress Try writing a letter to them get everything out, then burn it while telling yourself with this letter I burn, my stress will burn away.
Pick a favorite food from childhood that you use to enjoy and haven't had in a while. Or the go tos ice cream, pb&j, or grilled cheese with tomato soup.
Pick a comedy you've always wanted to see, laughter is the best medicine. You could also watch a complex movie or documentary about someone who's had a rough life, sometimes others peoples troubles take your mind off your own. You could also watch a good cartoon.
Take a shot, have a beer or two, or any drink that you like. Catching a little buzz is a great way to feel good and take your mind off stress.

Good ideas as long as 3 and 5 are not overdone. It can lead to a totally different problem. Exercise is a wonderful way to cope with stress. A bike ride can be relaxing. My youngest son, who gets upset with himself too easily, enjoys boxing on the WII. A perfect way for him to calm down and good exersice too.
