Start as soon as you can. Try to narrate what you are doing in Spanish just as you would in English. Things like I'm putting on your red shirt.
Preschoolers love songs so this works well to teach them Spanish through songs and music. You will be amazed at how quickly children learn Spanish through music.
You can find all sorts of books in Spanish. Try your local library, book store, or Amazon. I have built a rather large library of Spanish books and we try to read some every night.
At this age learning Spanish should be fun. Print out two sets of picture cards to make a memory or go fish game in Spanish. I have a link below that has some great free cards.
I have found some great videos that teach kids Spanish. I had to weed through the ones that were just too corny. I have a link to my favorites below.
