During some reading, a public defender who recognized the name Philando Castile, said he recalled the circumstances he defended Philando Castile. It all seems to follow a pattern as you know the facts. Philando was stopped for a learner's permit violation. Philando knew he was doing something illegal and he did it anyway and broke the law. He got stopped by police and he got fined. Look down the story further and see Philando Castile continued to break the law in some way. When person cannot afford a car, insurance and gas it is a no brainer to consider alternative transportation. This idea is wise because if there is a reason for police to stop a person for any infraction of the law, the unlicensed or unauthorized driver of that vehicle will be fined. A poor person who cannot afford a car, insurance can also probably not afford a lawyer to defend them in a court case when they are charged.
Depending on the charges, a poor person might not be able to pay fines and become more of a criminal. These are the facts that have been reported about early days of driving when Philando Castile was 19 years old. The crimes continued. Continue reading more facts.
Philando Castile did work and was supposedly liked in his work. He is labeled as a supervisor in his job. He stated he had a concealed carry permit. Do you question how Philando paid for the gun he carried and the permit he achieved to be able to carry that weapon? Then you might also question why he did not pay his fines so he was not such a criminal in the system. Each time Philando was stopped the police viewed Philando's record which appeared as a person who did not pay his fines and broke the law by those lack of actions.
Many of the crimes that Philando Castile was fined for were minor infractions. As he did not pay those fines, he got to be on the police blotter as a person that was circumventing the law and thinking he did not have to take care of the fines he accrued. He continued to build up several illegal criminal actions. Take a look and research these for yourself. Philando Castile was actually pulled over 49 times in thirteen years. Imagine having those under your belt. Would you allow each of those to build that list and go on living as usual? Philando Castile did.
