I lived in Branson, Missouri and in the surrounding areas for most of my childhood. I have worked in Branson, Mo and have done and seen most all attractions there is to see in the area. Here are my top five attractions to see in Branson, Mo.
Branson's Ride the Ducks is a great way to see Branson in the comfortable setting, even when its cold outside. Ride the ducks is open through all seasons and suitable for all ages. My favorite time of year to ride the ducks in in the winter when they take a tour of the Christmas lights.
Silver Dollar City is one of Branson, Mo's top tourist spots and can be very expensive. However, there are cheap ways to get tickets for Silver Dollar City. The best way is to have a friend that lives in Branson get tickets with their local discount. The second way is to buy them from your hotel you are staying at.
If you have kids or are a kid at heart the World's Largest Antique Toy Museum is a must see while in Branson. I loved the toy horse display. The history behind the toys was fascinating but just seeing all the toys from previous years was very cool for everyone, even the kids to see.
This is a new one for the area but getting to ride horseback and seeing the beautiful Ozark hills first hand is a Branson, Mo adventure not to miss. Riders must be healthy and under 250 pounds. Small children may ride with their parents (some restrictions apply). There are trainers to teach everyone the basics of horseback riding.
If I was only going to see one show in Branson, Mo it would be the Dixie Stampede. While there are lots of great shows in Branson, me nor my kids was bored once during the show. The show comes with great food. Just make sure you are done eating before the show gets half way through, because you will not want to eat after watching the horses for a while.
There are many adventures to be had in Branson, Missouri.
