Okay we got all the gifts bought but now we have to wrap them. This can get costly if you buy a lot of gifts and like to wrap everything. Or if you decorate with wrapping paper it can get pretty costly. Here are a few ways that we save.
When you go to the grocery store tell them to bag your items in paper bags. Some store will even give you bags not used for free. Take and cut the bag so you can lay it flat. Now you can decorate. You can use paint and stencil, stickers, draw your own designs, or for young children let them put there hand and feet prints on the paper and then wrap gifts for family members.
You get the Sunday paper every week for the coupons and ads so why not start saving the comics as well. Comics are easy to use as wrapping paper. You can use them to wrap smaller presents or tape them together to wrap bigger ones.
Tissue paper is good for the little gifts, like jewelry. You can wrap stocking stuffers with tissue paper as well. The great thing is you can save it up threw the year for gifts that others give you, or catch it on sale. Instead of taping the gift, you can use string or ribbon.
You always buy too much paper because you don't want to run out. So save what you don't use and then when the holiday season is over, go and grab the clearance ones.
You can get these bags at any store and they come in different sizes. They are festive ant all you have to do is put the gift in the bag and tie it closed. You can also purchase really big bags for the big gifts that you can't wrap like a kids bike.
