Whether you're married or back on the dating scene, knowing some subtle flirting signs may just improve your game. The below are very subtle flirting signs and only hint that you're interested in someone so kick these flirting tips up a notch if you want to be bolder.

The below list is assuming you're flirting with a man as, well, that's what I do. These subtle flirting signs will work with any sex though.

Laugh at His Jokes

Now, don't laugh at his jokes if they're horrible (why would you want to be flirting or dating that type of person anyway?). But, if he is amusing, let him know that you like his sense of humor. Everyone like to have a great audience and you'll be ahead of the crowd if you're front and center as he holds court.

Master the Hair Toss

This subtle flirting sign will call you out to every woman in the room, even if the man you're desiring appears to miss it. Shoulder length hair works best for the head toss. Simply move your head quickly in one direction so your hair flips to the side and over your shoulder.

Alternatively, you can twirl a small strand of hair in your fingers as a subtle flirting sign or sweep your bangs from your eyes.

Touch His Arm or Leg As You Talk

A light touch on the arm is a sure signal that you're interesting in the man and he will probably catch onto this one. Be careful not to overdo the arm touch as you may be perceived as a mauler.

If you're pretty sure that he is receptive to your flirting signs, you might try touching his thing, very lightly. And, do this just once or twice during a conversation.

Lightly Lick Your Lips

Nothing says "I'm flirting" like a small sliver of tongue licking lips. Red lipstick will draw his attention to your mouth even quicker. Apply just a dab of lip gloss in the middle of your bottom lip to make it appear fuller and more receptive for his kiss. Watch his gaze shift to your mouth as you offer this subtle flirting tip.

Keep Your Eyes Only on Him

No matter who enters or leaves the room, keep your glaze focused on the man of your desires. If he appears disinterested or moves away from you, move on, ladies.




Final Thoughts

Flirting signals are best done in a subtle manner so you don't appear to be a stalker. If you're really not sure how to flirt, go to any bar and watch the girls at the bar talk with the men - they've probably got it going on.
