Super Bowl is quickly approaching. If you are in to football, I'm sure you will either be attending a Super Bowl Party or hosting one yourself. Here are a few ideas for some easy appetizers.
Mix a bottle of ketchup and the same amount of grape jelly and put it in the slow cooker on low. Stir and heat until it is melted and mixed well. Take a package of little cocktail wieners and mix it in the slow cooker with the sauce until heated through. It is absolutely delicious and very easy to make.
Take a package of chicken wings and wash them under cold water thoroughly. Place them on a cookie sheet or cake pan and season them with seasoning salt and pepper. Place them in the oven set on 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Turn the wings over and cook them for another 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven. Mix a 1/4 cup of melted butter and 1/3 cup of hot sauce. Roll the chicken in the mixed sauce until coated. Place them back in the oven for another half hour, turn them after the first 15 minutes. Optional: If you want to brown them a little bit more, you can put them under the broiler for just a short while after the last half hour. Your guests will love these.
*If you want them a little spicier, add a little bit more hot sauce to the melted butter than the amount mentioned above. If you want them milder, use less hot sauce to the melted butter.
You will need either an Italian or French loaf bread from the bakery section. Slice the loaf in slices. Mix together: 1 package of softened cream cheese, a 1/4 cup of sour cream, 1/3 cup of mayo, 1/2 teaspoon of ranch or italian seasoning together. Spread on each slice of bread. Slice cucumbers and place them on top of the bread and sprinkle with a dash of dill week. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
You will need one package of taco seasoning and one 16 oz container of sour cream. Mix these two together and spread on a platter. Place shredded lettuce on top of the mix. Place chopped onions and chopped tomatoes on top of the lettuce. Place chopped black olives on top and then sprinkle shredded cheese on the top. Serve with tostito chips. This make an easy and quick appetizer.
Everyone loves cold boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce on the side to dip the shrimp in. You can either purchase cooked shrimp at the store or you can boil your own shrimp with shrimp boil. This makes another easy and delicious appetizer for your guest.
Here is a list of easy and delicious appetizers either for your guests or for you to take to a party. You and your guests will love these.
