Mail delivery often includes items in sealed paper envelopes. Don't just throw those away. Recycle them or reuse them to help cut your cost of buying paper.
Cut the opened envelopes into two pieces. Cut them to the size you prefer for your grocery list, and stack them in a convenient location.
Reuse an opened paper envelope to send your child's lunch money to school with. Simply use a broad marker permanent mark to cross off any personal information on the envelope.
Reuse an opened paper envelope to store dried flower, vegetable and fruit seeds in. Store the envelopes in a canning jar with lid (or recycled jar), and keep in a cool/dark location.
Using the same technique as mentioned in the first suggestion listed, keep a few for quick notes. When kids need a note for school, or you need to write yourself a note, use your recycled paper envelopes.
Use the blank sides of opened mail envelopes to cut into the size of bookmarks. Decorate and use for recipe books, reading books, or kid's school books.
There are so many ways to cut back on the cost of buying paper. You can always recycle your paper at local recycling centers as well.
I like your helpful recycle list for those envelopes.
