Introduction:Gone, but not forgotten. Eternally loved by their fans, some shows should come back. Truthfully, some television shows never should have left.
Big mistake taking ER off the air. It is true that the writing went down hill after the death of Paul Manning, but there are still so many possibilities with the show. And, who wouldn't tune in just at the thought of seeing George Clooney?
Whatever become of Val and Garry? Did Greg and Abby ever truly stick it to everyone they hated? We will never know because CBS pulled the plug much to early.
There isn't much wholesome, family television on these days. Not a worry when tuning in that you'd see someone naked or hear language no one should hear. The Ingalls family were interesting and real. We need television like that today.
Matt Dillon, Miss Kitty and Festus are missed. The day of western has, supposedly, passed, but it shouldn't have. It would be nice to see the good guy always get the bad guy and no mention of terrorism and bombs.
"Dallas" should have remained on the air so we could see JR get what he deserved. We want to pull for Pam and Bobby to get it together and make their relationship work. Of course, there is always the Jock and Miss Ellie's grandchildren to keep things going.
Television shows come and go. We get attached to characters. We watch the all twists and turns of the plot. Then, it is gone. Many times, especially to the fans, much too soon.
