Twitter is a great way to get people to notice you and notice your blog or website or product. By following a few of these ideas, you will see your popularity jump.
Whether you on the east coast or west coast there will be a time when there will be more people on Twitter than any other time. I can tell you for me it is early afternoons on Sundays that are the busiest. Research says around 7am to 4 pm there is more retreating going on. Narrow down the busiest times for you and stick to that time like a schedule.
Don't just tweet about your dog or what your buying at the grocery store. Tweet things you find on the internet as interesting. Tweet thought provoking quotes and people will know that when you tweet it is valuable. Whatever you do, don't keep tweeting about a product you are trying to sell. It will turn people away. Better to tweet informative articles about your product.
Tweet about coupons, upcoming contests or remind people that a great TV show is coming up or breaking news. Tweet a really good joke or funny video.
If you have a niche blog you should keep your tweets on the same theme. People will follow you because they share something in common with you, so they will automatically be receptive to your tweets.
Don't forget to let people know where you are on Twitter by adding Follow Me on your website and blog and email. Follow Friday's is another way to get peoples appreciation. Don't let your tweeting be a one-way street. Spread the word about other people and they will do the same for you. Retweeting other people's tweets is a great way to become popular. They appreciate it and will remember it and you.
well...not on twitter but appreciate you making it soooo simple! H5
