Yes, they scream, yes they are metal, yes they are Christian. Christian? Yes.
The music has a higher quality than most metal bands. The keyboards bring in an element of beauty and an epic feeling that other bands lack. The six musicians write and produce their own music and each album is given higher ratings and accolades than the previous one by the experts.
You will never find bad language or suggestive lyrics. The lyrics are a yearning to live for Christ in this day and age of confusion.
They are all high spirited young men who happen to be Christian. They are not Bible thumpers, they are young men who use their music as a mission, a testimony, but do not preach themselves. They are not perfect, don't claim to be, but they each claim to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and live accordingly. They stop their concert at every show and give a testimony. On some tours they get booed every night of the tour for that, on most tours the kids love it and cheer them. They have a group prayer before every performance.
This is a deviation from their usual music and lyrics. It's a Horror film on a music CD. They had fun with this and if you let your kid watch horror movies for fun, you will be fine with this. Again, the lyrics are clean, Zombies are hot right now and the boys had a good time with this.
They were asked to record a cover for the compilation record Punk Goes Crunk. They rewrote the lyrics and recorded a squeaky clean fun cover of Still Fly. It's still one of their most popular requests. Most web pages report they sing the original racy lyrics, they do not. Other web pages show partial changes. The actual lyrics are hard to find but they are clean and fun.
The next album is in progress and is, once again, about the spiritual journey of the young.
Good list.
I didn't know this. Thank you for the heads up! I love it when music and/or comedy is done cleanly. That takes a lot more talent than capitalizing off the cheap and dirty.
great reasons for parents to tell their children.
