Many of us don't really have time for exercise. As much as we would love to say we'll spend an hour walking or go to the gym, we barely have enough time for what we already have on our plates. Long weekdays, children, housework, and so much more. There are some easy exercises that we can do that won't take really an extra time as all.
We all have to take bathroom breaks sooner or later. Going to the bathroom is the perfect time. After taking care of business, take a few seconds before leaving the stall and stretch. You can touch your toes a few time. Stretch up high and/or swing from side to side. Especially if the bathroom is empty. No need for anything but a few second each time you go to the bathroom. You may find it will even help with sore mussels.
We are already busy. Move with a little bit of urgency. No running needed, but swing your arms and move a little more. Walking with some urgency will not only pick up the pace of work but help get your heart rate up just a little bit.
Moving around the house is a good time to pick up those feet. You may be marching around the home, but no one will mind.
Dancing is a wonderful form of exercise. Start dancing as you have to get the chores done. Beside it will make doing the chores more fun, even if the kids do laugh a little.
Do it more often. Many people do not vacuum, sweep, mop, or dust often enough. Try doing these more often. Not only do they give you a good workout but the home will be cleaner. A cleaner home will equal to better health for the entire family.
It is very easy to add little things that make your body move more. On my breaks at work I'm usually found on the phone with the husband or kids. To get a little exercise.. I try to walk around outside while talking to them, except when the weather is bad. It may be for just two to three minutes, but it is better then just sitting.
It always seems to be the little things that make all the difference :)
A bit of encouragement to all of those who working on losing weight right now. So far I've added just touching my toes 5 to 10 time after I use the restroom. Just adding that little bit seems to be working as I have lost a few pounds. So just a little bit goes a long way..
Great and doable list.Thank you for your good tips.
