You are going to play this game outside. You will have to form two teams. Each member of one team hides in various places within specific boundaries in the neighborhood. Everyone in team two tries to find them. If a member of team one is caught by a member of team two, he or she is taken to a home base. If all members of team one are found, team two wins and takes its turn hiding in the next round of play. The team that is hiding tries to run to a central location and kick a tin can without being caught, if a person kicks the can, all members of the team that were originally caught are now "free", and that team wins! Fun fun game!
Three-flies-up can be played with a Frisbee, bat and ball, football, or any other object that is normally thrown. One person hists or tosses the object into a crown. The first person who catches the object three times gets to be the next one to hit or toss it to the others. This game is usually done outdoors.
If you come from a family that played lots of cards, you no doubt will pass that pastime on to your children. Could it be that avid card playing is hereditary? Here are some favorites..Fish, Concentration, Hearts, Crazy Eights, Uno, Kings Corner.
The list of board games is almost unlimited. Try the old favorites like Scrabble or Monopoly, or the more modern Trivial Pursuit. Board games are really fun and time spent with your family will be most memorable.
Looking for a game the entire family, youth group, or slumber party gang can play? Try Sardines! Turn off all the lights, everyone stays in a particular room, one person hides somewhere in the house. No talking! The object is to find the hiding person and hide with him or her. Once everyone has found the missing person and hides in the same place, that round is over. Really fun game to play with your friends and family!
