Earning money online is not always easy, but here are the best ways to do it.
There are many sites out there that allow you to write for them and get paid. Sometimes the payments are up front, but mostly you write to earn residual income. Residual income is great because over time it takes less and less effort to maintain your profits, which means more free time to live your life (and have more to write about!) Some great websites to write for include List My Five, Bukisa, Hubpages, Squidoo, All Voices, and Associated Content.
Blogs are not the easiest way to make money, but these aren't the top five easy ways to make money online, just the best ways, and blogging can be great. It's all about how you make your money on your blog. Do you use your blog simply to connect people to your other work? Do you advertise on your blog with Google Adsense or with affiliate programs? Do you sell stuff on your blog? You can do any or all of these, but make sure that you have good content, you're focused on only one or two niche markets, and you spend time working on driving traffic to your blog, or you won't be making any money.
This is a broad statement I know, but the idea is simple. If you want to make money... sell stuff! It can be stuff you have at home (sell it on Ebay or Craigslist), it could be stuff you've made (sell it in a store on Etsy!), it could be skills you have (some sites pay for expertise), or it could be stuff you're selling for someone else (you can, for example, open a store on Amazon and sell stuff that's already on Amazon. It's awesome.)
I don't personally do this, but I know that a lot of people say that they do really well with this. So if you have some expertise in the world of stocks and bonds and trading, do some research on brokerage sites, find the best one, sign-up, and start making some money.
You can always use the internet to find online employment (Places like Demand Media Studios pay for articles, videos, copywriting work, and more) or use the internet to look for employers who combine online work and offline work. Some examples of jobs you can find like that include: Transcription work, tutoring, and providing "product parties" for a company while also selling product on a website. (An example of that would be Avon.)
Be careful of scams. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Do your research!
I think trading stocks would be great too. I have nothing to invest and ZERO expertise on it though. haha Maybe someday...
