Emotions and feelingd, while not always comfortable, can be helpful.
Your feelings and emotions will always be honest with you, just as a mirror is honest. Your feelings are a reflection of how you see things. Emotions and feelings are never given to you by someone else. They are personal information about you and for you.
Although you may try to make decisions logically, you will make better decisions if you acknowledge your feelings as well. People that have damage to the emotion centers of the brain are known to have difficulty making sound decisions.
Humans have always carried an internal GPS system. Your feelings can give you a reading of the environment around you. An example would be walking into a room and being immediately aware it is "full of tension."
Emotions are a universal human language. You know a lot about every one else in the world because the expression of emotion does not vary from culture to culture. A sad or happy face is recognizable no matter where you are in the world.
We understand words without using our feelings, but the connection forged between people during communication is all about the feeling behind the words. It is difficult to make yourself understood if you hide your feelings, or if you spew all over the place and slime people with them.
WEll presented and I fully agree. Thank you for your pensive list.h5
NICE list!! I had a troubled childhood but its silver lining is a "take it to the bank" sense of intuition. I trust my gut. I also believe your feelings need to be felt, and are generally reliable. H5!
