The holiday season has arrived and for many of us that means more added stress. Between work, managing a household and holiday gift shopping--things can get rather hectic. Use these top five tips to enjoy a stress-free holiday season.
Now more than ever- you'll need to become a list maker. Write down all of your daily tasks and cross them off upon completion. This will keep you organized and lower your holiday stress.
Don't be afraid to allocate jobs and responsibilities to your family, friends and coworkers. You're not a superhero so don't try to do everything yourself.
Purchase holiday gifts on your lunch hour break or utilize delivery services like Peapod to have all your holiday groceries delivered to your door.
Lower your stress levels by including exercise into your daily regime. Holiday exercise will keep you focused, fit and mentally healthy during the season.
Don't skimp on sleep this holiday season. Get 7-8 hours of sound sleep each night. Encourage the kids to go to bed earlier as well. Remind them how much Santa appreciates good little boys and girls!
