Swagbucks is a fun and FREE online income opportunity where you can earn cash, gift cards and other valuable items for searching the internet, shopping online, trading in electronics, taking surveys, participating in Swagcode hunts, etc. Members are rewarded for their efforts with Swagbucks currency which can be cashed in for a variety of prizes, including (cash) Paypal deposits, gift cards, and game consoles, just to name a few. I hope this list helps you increase your Swagbucks earnings.

Search on the Swagbucks Toolbar Every Day

After you join Swagbucks, the first thing you should do is install the toolbar and start using it to perform searches. You will randomly win Swagbucks in a variety of denominations. Searching through the toolbar on a regular basis will allow you to build up your Swagbucks balance faster. Don't forget that every Friday is Mega Swagbucks Day! On Fridays, you will have a greater chance of winning larger denominations of Swagbucks from your searches.

Refer Others to Swagbucks

Click on the Promote tab at the top of the Swagbucks homepage and you'll find several ways to refer others to the site. You can email your friends directly from Swagbucks, post your referral link or banner, post your widget and connect to Facebook. I suggest doing all of these things to maximize your referrals.

Encourage Your Referrals to Use the Search Box In the Toolbar

It's great to refer your friends to Swagbucks but getting them to signup is only the first step. You've got to help them understand how the site works and to encourage them to download the toolbar and actually perform searches on a regular basis. You will only earn matching Swagbucks (up to 1000) when your referrals search and win Swagbucks so offer your assistance and encouragement.

Participate In the Swagcode Hunts

From time to time TSG (The Swagbucks Guy) will give out special codes or hints to help you find the codes somewhere on the Swagbucks site. When you find a code, copy and paste it exactly as you see it, into the code box on the right side of the Swagbucks homepage. You will be credited immediately after entering it.

Tweet About Your Wins

With every Swagbucks you win from searching you'll have the opportunity to announce it to Twitter and other social networking sites. Take a few seconds to do this and it will help get you referrals.




Final Thoughts

I've been enjoying the Swagbucks site since December 2009 and wish I had signed up long before then. It's been an easy and fun way to for me to contribute to the family finances by cashing in my Swagbucks for Paypal deposits and Amazon rewards.     Swagbucks has set up a donation program to help the people of Japan recover from the disaster. If you'd like to help out but are short on cash, just donate some of your Swagbucks and they will convert them to cash for the donation. Way to go Swagbucks!

    I'd like to add "watch videos" to this list since Swagbucks just added this as a new way to earn more SWAGBUCKS! I love how they just keep making the site more interesting and fun for everyone!

    Swagbucks just added a new "friend" feature where you can request to be friends with your referrals. This should help you communicate with those people that you don't personally know and help them with any questions they might have.
