The best up and coming anime artists on DeviantArt you've never heard of. Let them wow you with their artistic talents.

Blackmermaid-Rei

Her overall body of work is detailed with a great sense of flow and color. Her pictures stand alone with attention paid to the emotions of the characters. My first favorite is Kingdom Hearts-Hearts Connect for its simple detail and expressiveness. My second is KH II Worlds Connect with it's amazing detail, vibrant color, shading and sense of movement.

Sikiie

The mix of black and white line art with and without color draws you in. The colors range from bold to soft. It's striking without being overpowering. One favorite, Crescent is exquisite in detail with color and texture weaved together to form a striking piece of artwork. Dreamscape's use of color, the attention to detail and line work are amazing. Clean, soft artwork that grabs your attention.

JC-Of-The-Redflame

A stand out is The Many Faces of Achika: 1. It leaps off the page with detailed line work, bold color and a sense of movement. His overall artwork has a lot of detail, good use of shadow and shading. Some of it is dark, but there's no loss of detail. Cuttime: The Magic Book draws you in to feel the wonder, magic and adventure of the art with great use of color and attention to detail. The expressions are priceless.

Love-Onigiri

The flow of colors along with a refreshing simplicity draws you in for more. Nice bold colors combined with softer colors mix well. In Punipuni-Pon, she gives us softer color with a bold blue background without detracting from the overall picture. The use of shading and detail bring it all together for a sense of the Christmas spirit. Sunset has amazing detail, colors and shadows for an irresistible anime drawing.

Demitasse-Lover

Demitasse-lover's, The Crows has a realistic simplicity that you can't help but love. Though the coloring is soft and muted it still stands out. From silly to lovers, emotion comes through in the details, use of shading and space. Even the bloody graphic anime drawing draw the eye to amazing use of realistic detail. A standout, Gefangen, is simple with a lot of emotion that grabs you by the heart.

Final Thoughts

These amazing anime artists may be unknown at the moment, but each one creates scenes uniquely their own.

Most of them are great, but... I can't agree with your opinion about BlackMermaid-Rei. Her anatomy still needs work, the works are not detailed at all, color isn't vibrant, and the shading... the same with anatomy, still needs work. There's still a long, looong way for her to become a great artist, but maybe she has the potential to. The rest of the list are good though.
