Do you look into your closet, and can't find anything to match or anything to wear? Is too much clutter and stuff in your closet stressing you out? Take control!
First start by taking everything out of your entire closet and grab a trash bag for all the items you want to donate to a homeless shelter or Goodwill, or maybe even give it to a friend in need. All other garments that are irreparably damaged or anything that has a torn or stain throw out.
Try to move coats and all other off-season items into bins, or into a storage closet with alike items. Make sure you label all items so you don't waste time digging through the storage containers and making a bigger clutter mess!
Everyone usually has a few pieces that are their favorite. Make your favorite pieces easy to find grouping like items together. (color code, or long-sleeved shirts, dresses, pants, etc.)
Many older homes do not have any lights in the closets, so this makes it very difficult to find what you are looking for at a moments notice. You can go to any local Walmart, Target, or hardware store and purchase 'self-stick-and-click LED light fixtures. These are really a great bonus for illuminating dark corners.
If you have money to spend, you may want to check the internet for a local professional organizer, to come into your home and design your dream closet!
