Manners are great to teach your children so they can be polite and have good manners when they are older.
Saying please when you ask for something is very polite. Teaching your young child to say, "yes please" when you ask them if they want something is a great way to start.
Teaching your child to say thank you is another wonderful manner. After something is given to your child it is a great idea for them to be polite and thank the person.
Unfortunately, not many kids like to share. Sharing is a very important quality that your child should have so he or she doesn't seem too greedy. Tell him that it is nice to share his toys with his friends when they play together.
Giving and donating are wonderful manners to have. Although donating is not expected, giving doesn't have to be something an item. You can give by simply giving advice or showing love to someone.
Being courteous is a very thoughtful manner and a great quality to have. Being courteous is important whether you are opening up the door for someone or simply using your please and thank you manners.
