With few exceptions, everyone needs to watch what they spend. Saving money can be as simple as not buying that brand name expensive outfit or as difficult as creating a budget and sticking to it. There are some ways to save money that everyone can do.
It's amazing how much money you can save just clipping and using coupons. Some stores will even double the amount of money you will save if the coupon does not go over a certain amount. Check the ads.
Shop for next summer/winter at the end of this summer/winter. Many stores have sales that are seventy-five percent off of the original price at the end of the season. Look for clothes, grills, holiday items, etc at tremendous discounts.
Drink tap water. If that bothers you, buy a filter and then drink tap water. Bottled water is not always as good as you believe. Tap water, not bottled water, must pass strict national and local standards. You can also save a ton of money.
Stop getting those high cable T.V. bills every month. If you must, just get the local channels at the lowest cost offered, usually less than twenty dollars a month. You can watch your favorites shows online if you give up that monthly bill. Check out HULU.com, you can stream Hulu to your TV through an Xbox 360, Playstation 3 or other set top box.
Do you always have your cell phone on and ready like most of us. Take that big step and have your landline phone disconnected. It will surprise you when you don't miss it at all. It is also one less monthly bill.
These are just a few of the costs you can cut and not feel too much pain. Try it for awhile and you will see that saving money is truly painless.
