Introduction:

Craft project kits are great for so many reasons. Craft kits make it easy for adults and children to try new crafts without a big investment, they make crafting easy for novice crafters and they store well in their own boxes or containers making it easy to keep several on hand for you and your children.

Make a Pet Rock Craft Project Kit

What it is about pet rocks, I'm not sure, but I can't help but think they're fun, even though they just sit there! Making pet rocks with your children from a kit is a fun and relaxing craft project. Don't forget the googly eyes!

Make a Beaded Key Chain Craft Project Kit

Some of the beaded key chains look complicated, but the instructions walk you through it step by step. If you find a pattern you especially like, you can get more beads on your own and make additional beaded key chains.

Make a Cotton Potholder Craft Project Kit

The polyester versions were the woven potholders of my youth. Some of the higher quality kits available now have cotton potholder loops in stay-bright colors and the looms are metal instead of plastic, resulting in more durable crafting tools.

Quilling Craft Project Kit

Quilling is the rolling and creasing of narrow strips of cardstock to make different flowers, creatures and other shapes. Because the strips are so narrow, the end results are cute decorations that can be added to note cards or scrapbook pages.

Make Bottle Cap Magnets Craft Project Kit

You can save your bottle caps for magnet projects or you can buy a kit that has shiny new bottle caps, decorations and glue. Once you make one or two decorated bottle caps, you and your child will find that making these miniature designs are addicting!




Final Thoughts

Look for travel craft project kits. They are easy to pack and are all-inclusive. Travel craft project kits are great for airplane rides, an evening activity in a hotel room, or a quiet activity at a relative's house.
