Introduction:

There are ways to give a compliment everyday. Here are a list of only five of those, so try one or more to see how you can brighten someones day and yours at the same time with these suggestions.

Complexion Compliment

When you see a smile, the entire face lights up for some people. If you are looking to compliment someone on their complexion, tell them something to make them smile and follow it with "your complexion lights up when you smile like that". It is a great compliment to have someone say something nice about the skin.

Directions and a Compliment

When a stranger gives directions in a store or on the roadway, return that gesture with a compliment. You might choose to say:"Thank you, if it weren't for you telling me that, I would not have found that".Giving a compliment to someone who gives directions will encourage them to help others another time. A gift of a compliment to another person for helping is always appreciated.Watch a person's face when you do this.

Invite Someone into Your Life

No one has too many friends. Some people are not anyone's really good friend. That might be due to constant moving from one area to another and no solid time to develop a long term friendship. Take notice of those people who are new in the neighborhood and invite them to a friendly jaunt to get to know the important areas of the neighborhood. Asking someone to be a friend is an admirable compliment appreciated by the receiver. Try it and see!

Grocery or Department Store

As busy as the clerks are at the grocery and department stores a compliment could truly give a lift to that person. Thanking them for taking special care of the sausage by putting it in a separate wrapping deserves a thank you for their consideration. When a department store sales person finds your size clothing, you can return the appreciation with a compliment of thank you and a"hope someone helps you as you have helped me today" remark.

Parenting Compliments

There are many more parents that are bringing up well behaved children that you see everyday. Give those parents a great compliment and tell them what a fine job they are doing with their well behaved offspring. That compliment will be just the pick me up for that mother or father to hear in their struggle to keep the family going smoothly.

    nice list...and I especially agree with the last one...lol...I think bonus points ought to be awarded if you can compliment a parent of good kids in front of a parent that has complete brats!
