Despite the fact that the economy is improving slower than a snail's pace, President Obama is still generally liked by much of the American population. Even I must admit that his breaking out in song at one event was priceless.
Incumbent presidents usually have built in advantages over their competitors. Barack Obama did not have to endure the grueling primary that Mitt Romney endured. The incumbent in a presidential election is probably also going to be viewed as the most presidential simply because of the fact that he has held the office of the presidency for over three years.
Most likely voters, even Democrats, will concede that the American media leans left in its reporting of politics. Obviously, there are some right leaning media outlets such as Fox News; however, the vast majority of America's television and print media outlets have at least a slight left bias.
For whatever reason, perhaps a poor economy or President Obama's convictions about social justice, entitlements have skyrocketed in this country over the past few years. One can logically conclude that the people receiving these benefits would worry that they would be cut under a President Romney. Therefore, they may be more inclined to vote for Barack Obama.
Whether you like President Obama or not, you have to admit that he has the gift of rhetoric. With limited experience four years ago, he won the presidency with his words. One can only wonder if words will be enough to secure the job for Barack Obama this time around.
7. Lethargy in America is alive and well. People don't do their research and think leaving the incumbent in to do four more years of damage to the country already suffering gravely from Obama's lack of loving America will be ok. What a joke!I could do a better job at it than Obama. At least I would pick suitable people to guide me and not corrupt criminals like Obama has.Example #1 is Eric Holder for starters.
6. People are stupid. When re-electing a president people should ask if they are better off now than they were four years ago. If the answer is no, then why would one vote for more of the same? Do we think it is somehow easier to pass even more debt on to our children and grandchildren? It is absolutely crazy to me that we are less than 100 days from the election and he is still in the running.
