It is our divine responsibility to be considerate of our fellow earth travelers. We're all here for the same reason - to learn and grow spiritually. Being kind and considerate to another is tantamount to being kind to yourself. All of us are individual expressions of the same source.
Pretty much everyone over the age of 10 can recite the "Golden Rule" in either one of its versions so it need not be repeated here. Treating people the way you want to be treated comes down to respecting differences of opinion and belief.
Would you disrespect your own mother? Your father? Your sister, brother, grandfather, or grandmother? If the answer is no, would you want others to disrespect the aforementioned family members? Probably not. Therefore, consider the fact that when you are disrespectful to another human being you are being insolent to a close member of someone's family.
You ever notice how good it feels to be kind? If you haven't noticed the exhilaration that emanates from benevolence, then think about how agitated evil people are. You probably know someone who argues all the time, with almost all the people they come in contact with. The commonalities malevolent people have with one another are: they feel bad, something's hurting, they just got over a cold, they didn't get much sleep, and the list goes on.
The primary reason to be considerate is because there are dire consequences when you are not. The results of your being inconsiderate will not appear immediately. You may not suffer the effects for some time to come but as sure as your name is what it is, the "Law of Reciprocity" will always revisit you.
Excellent reasons to be considerate.
It's good to find another spiritual writer here. I enjoy reading your work. This is a good list about being considerate. HI5
