Color of the Frame

The color of the picture frame has a lot to do with how the picture is being emphasized or made to silently blend into the contents.Not only does the color of the frame have bearing, but also the brightness of the color or the dullness also. Compare frame colors so you select the right one for your artwork. Remember you can most often times change the frame if the one the picture comes with does not suit your color theme in the room you have chose to put the picture into.

Style of the Picture Frame

There are perhaps as many styles for picture frames as there are countries in the world. Maybe even more than the number of countries since some areas of one country have a heritage so very different from another. Style has to do with era or year of the picture frame.

Fashion of the Picture Frame

Picture frames with a shabby tone can more easily fit into a relaxed atmosphere than a more formal setting. Considered the other way around the more formal picture frame sits well in both areas to not ruin the fashion design of any room and truly adds to the decor.Try your fashion sense to your own personal space and determine if the picture frame with an irregular and non symetrical flair goes well in your designated area.

Nothing is taboo when it comes to the contents of a picture. There are so many artistic styles that say exactly who you are and so who can have anything to say about your individuality? Choose scenery, portrait or abstract pictures according to your likes. Your selection will be expressed in the contents of the picture.

Combination Pictures and Frames

When a specific theme is one you like, you do not have to only choose one picture and frame. You can create a cluster effect with two or more pictures in frames to put a design together making a fashion statement with your group of pictures. Those all can be in a vertical or straight row or other design.
