The primary character is a thief in this joke. He is a seasoned robber and knows how to successfully pull off heists in the past.He is known by police and never been caught. Since this is a great joke preliminary discussion about the fact that this burglar is an accomplished one should be stated.

Secondary Character In the Joke

With the secondary character being the law,it is known that the thief is caught.The thief tells the police exactly why he fell in the hands of the police in the joke.The police are extremely surprised that such an experienced robber is caught by such an unusual way during this heist.

Beginning Contents of the Joke

After careful planning,a thief determines to confiscate some rare paintings from the Louvre in Paris, France. He is skillful in getting past the security, steals the paintings and makes it safely to his van without any interference, whatsoever.He gets only two blocks from the Museum when he is apprehended by police. He ran out of gas to be able to go any further.

Ending of the Joke

The police asked how could the thief mastermind such a crime and then get caught making such an obvious error? the thief answers: "Monsieur, that is the reason I stole the paintings. I had no MONET ( pronounced money), however that is a famous painter.
