So many organic chocolate bars, so little time (and calories to spare)! Therefore, find the most satisfying bars to savor!
This company puts out divine bars, just the right size...So if you are compeeled to eat it all, there is less ounces:-) Check out the company at www.Dagobachocolate.com And grant special attention to my two treasured bars: Super Fruit 74% Acia Gogi & the Strong Elcipse 80%+ cocoa.
Think "Theobromine" (the active component in Cocoa noted to boost mood, and even metabolism)! Theo offers the larger bar format, with creative mixed flavors. Two that I frequent are: Dark Fig, Fennel & Almond 70%, and their Toasted Coconut Bar- divine with Oolong tea!
Green & Black have a bold & spicey bar called 'Maya Gold'. It will make your toes curl! History notes that the Maya Indians in southern Belize flavored their cocoa with spices. Green & Black recaptures this by blending rich, dark chocolate with a refreshing twist of orange that is perfectly balanced by the warmth of cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of vanilla or Ginger. For more info go to: www.greenandblacks.com
Endangered Species Chocolate Company is grand, because they give a portion of their proceeds to invest in the preserving of our animal kingdom. Therefore, I invest in their 72% Forest Mint (my fav!) or my runner up- The Gogi, Peacan, Maca 70%. For more info go to: www.chocolatebar.com
You cannot go wrong with Newman' Own products. They are fair in price, tasty, and a large portion of their profits go to The Hole in The Wall Children's Camps. I enjoy their 54% Orange Bar or a few pieces of their Dark Espresso 54% in my AM coffee:-) ZING!
As I said...SO MANY BARS...So here are my Runner Ups: Divine Hazelnut (more milk- very smooth!), Choco Love (not 'organic' BUT the Cherry Almond is enough to make you ignore that fact + enclosed is a Love Letter!), & the Art Bar (www.ithacafinechocolates.com).
