It is wise to choose a doctor before you need one. It's equally wise to choose a lawyer at leisure-before a crisis occurs.
To choose a lawyer, check your local bar association's referral service. Or ask an officer at your bank to provide you with a list of several names. You can also consult with friends and associates whose judgment you trust.
If your legal affairs are simple, you might investigate using a legal clinic, a special type of law firm that handles routine cases at a relatively moderate cost.
If you need an accountant, ask your lawyer, bank, or employer for information about certified public accountants (CPA's) or accounting firms with whom they have had favorable dealings.
Consult your friends or business people in your community for the names of insurance brokers from whom they have gotten good service. When you interview these people, ask them for additional references with whom you can check. It's a bad sign if they refuse to provide references.
There is really only one factor in choosing a stockbroker-will that person make money for you? Always ask for references before making a final selection. When checking them, try to get people to speak openly and specifically about the moneymaking ability of the broker. Remember, it's your money that's at risk. All the broker loses is your business.
Great financial list with wisdom and strength in it.Thank you.
