The Planned Parenthood organization has just been defunded in a huge way.Your network will be publicizing that if you have not already got that message. The likely hood of Planned Parenthood gaining some world wide attention is to mention Planned Parenthood will not be able to provide mammograms to many women seeking that diagnostic testing because of that defunding. Breast cancer can be heard on the tongues of men and women in the United States and in other countries too. New York Mayor Bloomberg is offering to contribute $1 for every $1 donation to Planned Parenthood up to $250,000 of his own money. After a loud crowd rallied in favor of Planned Parenthood, the Mayor offered his words and money to fill in the gap the other donor created. Komen is the defunding donor which Mayor Bloomberg claimed let politics interfere with the usual donation supplied to Planned Parenthood in the past. Komen denies the accusation.As previously mentioned in update in #1 Komen has reinstated the funding to Planned Parenthood.Many private donors specifically fund certain aspects of Planned Parenthood, which is not clear where Mayor Bloomberg will be placing his funds when the money is actually donated by the mayor to Planned Parenthood.

Perhaps more than one employee has terminated her employment in annoyance, for the use of a better word, about the recent reduction of a donation by Komen.With the update of the funds being given back, there is possibly a path for that person to again be employed at Komen. The Planned Parenthood organization accepts private donations, donations from large corporations,estate money bequeathed and money from tax payers, like you and me. Even if we do not want to or believe in all the activities of Planned Parenthood the United States Government provides grants to Planned Parenthood. The course of the expenditure of those funds has requirements. Citizens know if there is $300,000 to spend and it is ear marked to not spend on abortions, it cannot be spent on abortions.Citizens also know the abortion money might have many labels.Talk to your Senator or Congressman or Congresswoman to learn more so the author is not reprimanded for divulging more in this list.

Private Donors

Some very large donors give to Planned Parenthood. When those Bill and Melinda Gates and many others are listed on the public record as donors to Planned Parenthood they specify how they want their money to be spent. If there is no mention of direction of those funds, Planned Parenthood has their own discretion to fall back on, yet must divulge where the money went. Watching a movie showing limited life when having a young child to take care of is considered educational. This form of material might be deeply rooted to convince young pregnant females to terminate their pregnancy and avoid that restrained life instead of other options.The funds can be listed as educational when the underlying tones suggest otherwise.

The bottom line is both organizations needs donations to keep providing services to those that need them. The people that are in need of the services (of either one) are the ones that will be hurt by all the negative publicity.
