It is convenient to use your flex plan. All you need to do is show the pharmacist or doctor's office your flex plan card to pay your bill. Pretty easy to do and very convenient way to pay your bill. You do not need to send in any receipts and a signed form. All you need to do is show the doctor, hospital, pharmacy, or any other covered medical place your Flex Plan card to pay for the bills.
You don't pay any income tax on the dollars used for the flex plan. Another words, you don't get charged for tax on your medical bills that you pay using your Flex Plan card.
You determine how much money you want to put in to your Flex Plan account up to $2500.00. These funds are used to pay off your medical bills for the year to a year in a half depending on which plan your employer choices to have.
A Flex Plan pays for all of your health care bills such as your hospital, all of your doctor, physical therapy, and medications. Your Flex Plan also covers your bills for your dental and your vision bills.
The Flex Plan save your money. The Flex Plan is a perfect way to help you save money since the money is taken out of your check weekly or bi-weekly depending no which way your employer has it set up for you. You don't need to pay tax on any of this which saves you money. You don't need to take money out of your bank account to pay for your medical bills as long as you haven't used more than the total amount of funds taken and put into your Flex Plan account.

Paying with pre-tax dollars only makes sense - why pay more than you should have to on RX and medical procedures when you can use a flex plan?
