Think that this reason doesn't apply to you? Well, run up two flights of stairs. Once you catch your breath (it's ok, I can wait)tell me I am wrong. Every single time you inhale, you are adding to the tar build - up on your once healthy lungs.
The older people get, the more obvious it is. Smoking wreaks havoc on your skin. What once was soft and supple has slowly turned into leather. Not to mention the deep lines it creates around your lips.
Not only does it leave an immediate stench while you are in the process of smoking a cigarette, long term use can also create an odor that is released through your skin. This odor is most noticeable if you are sweating.
Nicotine curbs your hunger, but it also kills your ability to truly enjoy the flavors in food. If you have ever quit, even for a short time, you will notice how much better food tastes.
When you go out to dinner with your spouse or a group of friends, most likely you will step away from them at least twice during the course of the meal to go smoke. This is only a small portion of your day. Add up every time you do this throughout a single day. You are wasting a lot of valuable time.
